    Photo Number 65 -Rudder that
    was made at home ahead of the
    building process in the boat yard.
    The tiller block was bonded in
    place and held by two "C" clamps
    still being used today...45 years
    later.

    now gone, construction on the
    cabin sides front and back
    started. Decking is complete.

    combing, seats and internal
    mahogany bonding strips are on
    for the cabin top.

    coating of paint primer to reflect

    downs.

    You can just make out the cross
    arm venting holes in the float
    sides which were later covered
    by streamline vent covers
    facing aft.

    detail at hatch. You can just see
    some of the bronze ring boat nail
    patterns. The deck was slightly
    arched....different from the plans.

which will hold two layers of 1/4" ply
for the cabin top for bonding. The
cabin top will not have internal
stringers, giving 3" to 4" more head
room inside the cabin. This is a
departure from Piver's plans.

    protection canopy built. Now
    being moved to another location
    in the yard. Lots of helpers.

    Photo Number 82 - Eight custom formed aluminum
    framed safety glass windows installed. Mahogany
    hand rails on top and Mahogany cabin doors finished
